Sanding and refinishing. Installation and repair. Staining. Distressing. Solid, laminate, and engineered. I’m an experienced craftsman with knowledge passed down from generations. I have more than 30 years of experience and I offer free estimates as well as a guarantee on all labor. I also provide painting, woodworking, furniture, and structural finishing, touch-up, and repair. My services might be varied, but they all come with the same promise of quality, dedication, and pride.

I started my wood flooring apprenticeship sometime before my 20’s with an “old-timer” that I had met, and worked with, doing carpentry. He was from NYC and was always talking about how great wood flooring was. I finally convinced him to restart his company where we lived in upstate NY.

We became great friends. He showed me the ropes and was leaving me on jobs by myself in a matter of weeks. I was a natural for sure and I've been at it ever since. Even though we both live in different states now, he still calls me his “best man.” I just had this amazing passion for it and after all these years I can gladly say that the passion I have for this trade is as strong as it was when I first started.

Some years later I worked in Fort Lauderdale for a couple of years with what became a dear friend, and his father. Both of which are now passed and every time I see a floor I can’t help but think of them. They sharpened my skills even more and I eventually went back to NY in 2002 going into business for myself.

That was the greatest feeling that I ever felt. To possess the knowledge and ability to please the client and see every aspect of the job from start to finish was amazing. This was a whole new ball game and I fell in love with it.

Customer service, manners, and respect are so important and I think a lot of companies out there now have forgotten this. There's no greater feeling like seeing your client’s face light up with joy all the while knowing you provided them with a very pleasurable and stress-free service from beginning to end.

Many of my clients quickly become lifelong friends. I’ll never forget when a client of mine said that I sanded my way into her home and into her heart. That meant so much to me and that’s what I believe it’s all about.
